Kava vs. CBD

Kava and CBD both get called "calming," but they feel very different. Most people notice kava within half an hour: relaxed and loose. CBD is much subtler; many people feel little from a single drink. If you want something you can feel in the evening, kava is the stronger swap for a drink.

Kava vs. CBD drinks
CBD seltzers and sodas are everywhere, but most carry small amounts, and people often say they don't notice much. Canned kava is built to be felt, which is why it's popular with people cutting back on alcohol.
Can you take kava and CBD together?
There's little research on combining them. If you take medication, ask a doctor before mixing botanicals.
