A kratom energy drink is a canned drink made with kratom and sold for a daytime lift. Kratom has no caffeine, so most of these cans don't either; the "energy" comes from how people describe white and green kratom at small amounts: bright and upbeat rather than sleepy. Regular energy drinks don't contain kratom.
Is kratom in regular energy drinks?
No. Mainstream energy drinks like Red Bull, Monster and Celsius run on caffeine, plus things like taurine and B vitamins. None of them list kratom. Kratom drinks are their own category, sold online, at kava bars and in some smoke shops and convenience stores.
What drinks have kratom?
Canned kratom drinks come in three styles:
- Extract seltzers. Fizzy, usually zero sugar, made with kratom extract. Several brands pitch these for energy and focus.
- Kratom and kava blends. Both plants in one can, usually pitched for calm rather than energy.
- Leaf-brewed elixirs. Botanical Brewing Co.'s are brewed from crushed leaf and sold by color, so you choose white for daytime, green for social plans or red for evenings.
The color is the part that matters for energy. White is the one people reach for in the morning; green is gentler. What the colors mean.
Do kratom energy drinks have caffeine?
Kratom itself has none, even though the tree is in the coffee family. If a kratom drink contains caffeine, the brand added it, and it will be on the label. If you're trying to cut caffeine, check the ingredients before you buy.

Which kratom drink for energy?
Start with white. Botanical Brewing Co.'s White Elixir Island Breeze is pitched as a swap for coffee and energy drinks, and it's a tropical fruit flavor rather than a plain bitter tea. If white feels like too much, Green Elixir Tiki Apple is the gentler, more social option.
How to drink one
- One can is one serving. These aren't meant to be drunk back to back like soda.
- Earlier in the day. White and green fit mornings and afternoons; save red for the evening.
- Cold. They taste best straight from the fridge or over ice.
